Drop-Off Information
Students may enter the building at 7:50 a.m. and go immediately to class to prepare for the day. If students are eating breakfast they may go to the cafeteria between 7:45 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. We are no longer having students wait in the cafeteria to go to class. We are trying to teach students good habits such as being on time and ready to work to encourage this for their job one day.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found cart at Kuehnle is full! All students are urged to have their names on their sweaters, jackets, lunchboxes, etc. When names are on the students’ items, those items can be delivered to the students’ classrooms. This year if a lost and found item appears on the cart and does not have a name on it, the date is taped to it. If that item has been there for longer than a month, it will go in a box to be sent to NAM. We are requesting parents to please encourage their child to take a good look at the lost and found items as they go to lunch and claim what is theirs. Also, please make sure your child has their eyeglasses. The front office has quite a collection--please have your child stop by if they are missing their glasses. Thank you!

*VISITORS MUST HAVE I.D. Klein ISD has recently installed a new visitor identification system in the front office of our campuses. This system is capable of producing a picture visitor badge in a matter of seconds. It will also allow us to identify registered sex offenders who come to our campus. Effective immediately, all visitors will need to produce a photo I.D. (driver's license) that can be scanned. Visitors who refuse to comply with this policy will be denied entrance into the building. Volunteers who have had a background check and have a picture I.D. at the volunteer desk may use that badge for entrance. At the end of each day, the system identifies those visitors still in the building; therefore it is important that all visitors sign out when departing.

*Kuehnle Elementary is a No Place for Hate School. Our school promotes acceptance and tolerance of diversity through daily activities and our guidance program.
