I am thrilled for another year as a Zwink Zebra! I attended all Klein schools growing up before going to Sam Houston State for my Bachelors in Education. After graduating from SHSU (Go Bearkats!), I began my teaching career at a middle school in Houston ISD before deciding that it was time to come home to Klein. Outside of the classroom, I love to travel and experience different cultures with my husband, we have adopted two now very spoiled rescue labs named Sandy and Apollo, and my passion is reading. As much as I love spending time with my little family at home, I CAN NOT wait to start the 2017/2018 school year with my fifth graders Pics/Anderson_K.JPG
I am thrilled to be a part of this AMAZING school! I attended Klein schools from Kindergarten until graduating from Klein Oak. I feel truly blessed to be teaching in such a great district. I have been teaching for over 10 years and I have loved every minute of it! I have been married to my husband, Colby, for ten years. I have an amazing 15 year old step-son, Logan and a beautiful 7 year old daughter, Presley. We enjoy spending time together as a family. I also enjoy bike riding, baking, and crafting. Teaching is my passion, and nothing gives me greater joy than having the honor and privilege of teaching your children. It is my hope to instill in them a love for learning and desire to explore and ask questions. I have very high expectations for all of my students, and I want them to be the best that they can be! Being the Zwink Art teacher and being part of this amazing family is truly an honor and a joy! I am very excited to see how much fun all of the Zwink artists are going to have this year while learning, exploring and creating art. I have been wearing many hats in our wonderful district: as a parent, volunteer, PTO board member, and as a regular and long term sub since 2006. I love to paint, draw and make floral arrangements to decorate and beautify. When I am not teaching or creating art, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tony, and our three children, Geo, Teddy and Loricia. We enjoy travelling, camping and watching our kids compete year round in swimming. I look forward to working with all the returning Zebras again this year and meet all our new students coming to Zwink! Pics/Baldwin_B.jpg
I'm so thankful to be a part of the Zwink family! I graduated from the University of Houston in 2011 and started my career in Houston ISD. I began as a K-5 science lab teacher, then transitioned to the fourth grade classroom. I've had the privilege of teaching at an IB World School for three years where I gained my most authentic teaching practices. One of the best experiences I’ve had in my career was my role as a teacher development specialist on the implementation of the Writer’s Workshop. My one year old daughter, Charli, keeps me and my husband on the move! I love taking her to new places around town and spending time with my family. I look forward to my 7th year of teaching and another great one with my Zebras! Pics/Bencomo_N.jpg

I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, where I graduated from law school in 2005. I have been happily married since 2006 to Francisco, father of my pride and joy, Regina, whose arrival forever changed our lives. In 2007, we gave up our careers, left our friends, families and home to move to Houston seeking better medical attention for Regina (who was born with Spina Bifida). Once established in Spring, I became a teacher with hopes of helping my child and other children acquire the necessary tools they need to succeed in life regardless of their physical or intellectual abilities. I have been serving kids at Zwink for 3 years now and looking forward to an amazing 2017-18 school year! Pics/Bennett_N.png

Hi, my name is Claire Davis and I am truly honored to be teaching third grade ELA here at Zwink! I received my undergraduate degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University. Go Frogs! Directly after, I began my teaching career in Richardson ISD teaching elementary music for two years. At the start of the 2016-2017 school year I moved down to Spring, and began subbing in Klein ISD. Shortly after I interviewed for a long term position teaching ELA at Zwink.  Immediately I fell in love with the school and staff members that I met. When the phone rang telling me I got the job, I was humbled and excited, to say the least. Little did I know in the next four months I was going to find a group of students that captured my heart and a school that I could now call home. Never before had I considered being a classroom teacher, but after this experience I knew it was where I belonged. Immediately I began strengthening and broadening my knowledge of ELA through various grade levels and enrichment programs. I served as a campus substitute the rest of the year, and got to know many students and staff throughout the building. I had to leave the school year in early April to bring into the world my precious little girl, Aria. It's needless to say a majority of my time this summer  was spent changing diapers and perfecting silly faces. My favorite past times include running and dancing. I cannot wait to lead a group of Zebras this year! Pics/Davis_M.jpg

I am so thrilled to be a part of the Zwink team for another year! I can only imagine the great things that are to come. Ever since I was little, my father would tell me stories of his teaching days and the relationships he made with his students. I knew then that I wanted to work with children, make those types of relationships and differences, so I ventured on to the education program at the University of Houston. After graduating magna cum laude with an Interdisciplinary Studies bachelor’s degree, I accepted a 2nd grade teaching position in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, where I taught at Duryea for 2 years. From there, I wanted to teach in the district I was a product of, so I moved to Krahn Elementary in Klein where I served for 5 years as a 2nd and 4th grade teacher. I completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Minor in Mathematics at Sam Houston State University in 2012. Soon after, I became assistant principal at Ulrich Intermediate. In the 3 years at Ulrich, my peers voted me as Administrator of the Year 2014-2015. I feel that these years of experience are formative in molding me as the educator and administrator that I am today. I am beyond excited to be in the elementary setting and am certain that the years to come are going to be even more exceptional. Working with students is my passion, but while I am not on campus I enjoy spending time with my family – my husband Lee and our daughters Lilly and Leah. Pics/Gerlock_E.png
